The "Nockspitze" or "Saile" (2404 m) is located in Innsbruck´s southwest. Due to its particularly exposed location, the Saile is considered a weather mountain, a point where thunderstorms, storms and snowfall occur. It was therefore seen in folk tales as a place where weather witches meet each other.
