Mount Kailash (6638 m) is sacred in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Bon religion.
"Kailash" could mean "Crystal", but also the translation "Snow Jewel Mountain" is valid.
It is located between Tibet, India and Nepal. There has not been a recorded successfull ascent of the mountain, it is prohibited due its religious significance.
I have always been inspired by its beauty and mystic appearance,
so I had to include it in the - otherwise strictly Tyrolean - series.
